Designing Learning

The first step an organization should take in examining the learning methods to be employed is to look at its current capabilities and capacities, and then what options are available to augment those capabilities. The next step is to determine how to design, build, and maintain the learning. Consistency, across a system is key: it provides a sense of stability and predictability. This can be provided by having similarly sized and laid out classrooms, by having templates for presentations and learning objects, or for implementing basic course layouts that lead learners along their course journey.
